The 2020 Annual Richard Selznick Memorial Lectures: A Virtual Event

This year, the Richard Selznick Memorial Lectures will a virtual event and can be viewed remotely using zoom.  It will be held on June 17th, 2020, at 8:00 AM. The annual event, which is presented by the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, includes research presentations, lectures and an awards ceremony. The 2020 event will feature talks by Vanessa Charubhumi, MD; Alessandra Falk, MD; Abraham Goch, MD; Samuel Kiernan, MD; Saeed Mohammad, MD; William Walsh, MD; Osama Aldahamsheh, MD; Shady Mahmoud, MD and Manaf Younis, MD. The Richard Selznick Memorial Lectures honor Richard Selznick, MD, who was an early graduate of the orthopaedic residency program and remained an active and dedicated member on the voluntary faculty until his untimely death. He was involved in weekly conferences, was an inspiring teacher in the clinics and enjoyed his involvement with the resident teaching program. In his later years, Dr. Selznick was a well-recognized expert in medico-legal aspects of orthopaedic surgery. His dedication and willingness to give freely of his time is remembered by all of those with whom he came in contact. The lecture series and the endowment fund are dedicated to his memory.
