2nd Advanced Certification for Montefiore's Total Hip and Knee Replacement Program

The Montefiore Joint Replacement Center has received its 2nd consecutive Joint Commission Certification for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement.  Advanced certification recognizes the care provided to patients undergoing joint replacement surgery, both while in the operating room and as patients transition through different stages of treatment.  It has been awarded to only 11 institutions within NY State and to only 4 institutions within NYC. Montefiore's program is the only one in both the the Bronx and Westchester to receive this national certification and it demonstrates our extraordinary commitment to patient safety and surgical excellence.
